Afro-American Club
Of Citrus County
Welcome and thank you for visiting our website.  We have been blessed during the past 27 years since the club was first formed here in Citrus County.  As a 501(c) 3, not for profit organization, we have worked diligently to support our ever-growing community.

Initially, in early 1989, fifteen individuals came together to expand their social network and to contribute more effectively to the surrounding community.  Since that time
, our
roster has grown as high as 110 paid members, with support from a host of others!  Collectively we have contributed over $100,000 to local students seeking university degrees, skilled trade’s certification and/or specialized advanced programs.
In addition, our organization prides itself in its support
of community-wide activities such as Habitat for Humanity; School Reading programs; GWCCC; Crystal Rivers and Inverness MLK Events; the annual African-American Read-In; Camp E-Nini Hassee and much more!

As a past recipient of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce “John T. Barnes Award” for our dedication within the community, we are honored while knowing there is much more to do!  With that in mind, we will continue to push the boundaries of our role and contribution
in the community.

In the coming years, we plan to build a stronger relationship with local organizations such as the George Washington Carver Community Center; explore the creation of a youth branch; expand our active membership, and
prepare our association for the future!

As the Afro-American Club of Citrus County, all residents are welcomed to become members. Members who will help us evolve and grow well beyond any given limitations!  All are welcomed all are valued.

Please consider making the AACCC a part of your life’s journey! Each of our individual and collective
achievements has been made while standing on the shoulders of past generations!  Now it is our turn!  Come join us, as we march to the future!
